Boundary Disputes
We all like to know that our property is being respected, especially when we do everything to respect the property of others. Issues arise, though, when a neighbor breaches that respect and intentionally or unintentionally encroaches on your property. This can be as harmless as a tree growing over the property line or as aggravating as a neighbor deliberately building a fence or room addition on your land.
Other conditions that may force someone to pursue legal action over a boundary dispute include trespassing, disputes over who has riparian ownership of a stream or river, and survey or title mistakes.
Boundary issues can become extremely complex. If you’ve had a professional survey conducted or have attempted to discuss a boundary issue with your neighbor and they continue to refuse to rectify the issue, it may be time to seek legal counsel. Make sure you have your title insurance and deed handy, then give King Law Firm Attorneys at Law, Inc. a call.
