Meet Our Team
Rachel King
Trial Attorney
Rachel A. King is an attorney in California and Arizona and veteran of the U.S. military. After being raised in a family of attorneys, Rachel served in the Army as a paralegal and Communication Specialist and earned her Juris Doctor degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law.
As an active member in good standing with the State Bar of California, State Bar of Arizona, Riverside County Bar Association, Southwest Bar Association, Richard T. Fields Bar Association, Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, and American Bar Association, Rachel is committed to the legal success of her clients. Communication is essential for a successful attorney-client relationship. She always goes above and beyond to remain personally available to all of her clients.
Outside of the firm, Rachel is highly active in her community. She developed the Attorney Mentor Program within the Southwest Valley Youth Court, is a proud founding member of the Douglas County Bar Association in Douglas County, Nevada, and spends a lot of time giving back to elementary schools, senior centers, assisted living centers, and non-profits. Her penchant for serving the community earned her the Murrieta Entrepreneur of the Year award in 2016.
Megan Adams
Senior Paralegal
Megan received her paralegal certificate from the University of California, Davis in 2018. Soon after, in 2019, she joined King Law Firm, Attorneys at Law, Inc, where her favorite field of law to practice is probate law.
When Megan isn’t working (which is almost never), she enjoys camping with her husband and kids. She is also an avid volunteer, focusing most of her efforts in organizations such as the San Diego Free Slate Clinic and Free to Thrive. Her ultimate volunteer goals is to one day work with the Innocence Project. Finally, the crime junkie in her has peaked her interest in learning more about criminal law and wrongful convictions.
Ashton Taylor
Paralegal
Ashton Taylor was born and raised in Southern California. She now resides in Temecula where her and her husband raise their two sons. Having obtained her certification in Paralegal and Advanced Paralegal Studies from Cal State San Marcos, Ashton has worked in the legal field for over 15 years.
Ashton chose the legal field because she likes the ability to argue professionally and has the ability to convince anyone that as long as you can find the law to back it up, your argument is always correct. She enjoys legal research and applying the law to help people in need. She hopes to pursue her legal education further by obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Legal Studies.
In Ashton's spare time, you can find her and her family at Petco Stadium catching a Padres game.
Melissa Burke
Paralegal
Melissa graduated from Grand Canyon University in 2021, earning a Bachelor’s in Government with Legal Emphasis. She also earned a Paralegal Certificate from UCLA Extension. Her emphasis is in family law because her passion is helping others in their most difficult times.
She loves being able to assist wherever she’s needed, especially when working together as a team to meet each client’s individual needs and move cases in the right direction. Her biggest goal is to learn as much as she can within all of the different aspects of King Law Firm’s diverse array of services so she can assist in a wider range of cases.
When Melissa’s not at work, she enjoys speeding time with her husband and dog, Miso.
Gloria Zahn
Client Liaison
After graduating Westchester High School in Los Angeles, California, Gloria held several odd jobs before becoming a calendaring clerk. While being able to communicate daily with courtroom clerks and staff at many different law firms, she never felt at home in that role. She loves organizing and learning new things, as well as providing the best customer service she can offer. As a client liaison at King Law Firm Attorneys at Law, Inc., Gloria learns as much as she can about the law from her colleagues in an environment that truly feels like her home away from home.
A San Pedro, California native, Gloria now lives in Canyon Lake with her husband of 12 years.
